Wil van der Aalst Elected Scientific Member of the German Academy of Science and Engineering

Members of the German Academy of Science and Engineering advise policymakers and society on issues relating to the future of technology.

This year, 10 female and 12 male scientists accepted the election as scientific members. In various projects of the Academy, the scientific members cooperate with external experts and publish the results of their work in the form of publications and events. The scientific members are elected on the basis of their outstanding research and reputation.
