Hans Hermann Voss Foundation Supports 5 ICT Master Theses
As part of the so-called "Speed Funds", the Hans Hermann Voss Foundation supports master's theses from the RWTH's profile areas. This year, for the first time, 5 master theses from the ICT profile area will be supported.
The "Speed Funds" are intended to promote research work to solve application-oriented and interdisciplinary problems of students from natural science and technical subjects. For this purpose, an idea is to be converted into a concrete concept within 6 months, in order to be able to evaluate it. The funding volume amounts to a total of 160,000 euros for all "Speed Funds" with a maximum funding amount of 15,000 euros per fund. Last year, the Hans Hermann Voss Foundation made 18 master's theses at the profile departments possible.
Mechanical engineer Hans Hermann Voss felt a strong bond with his fellow human beings, so education was a matter close to his heart. In 1992, the married couple Hans Hermann and Christa Voss then established the Hans Hermann Voss Foundation. He lived the conviction as an entrepreneur to give something back to the region and its inhabitants. Today, the foundation's purpose is to support regional research and natural science projects, especially at universities in NRW.
Congratulations to Rofaida Daabis, Mohammed Hossein, Dominik Kus, Tabib Mazhar and Asad Tariq!
We wish them every success in the implementation of their work!
