Great Interest in the Project House Call
The announcement of the ICT project house has lead to as many as 30 applications of RWTH researchers. The speaker of the ICT profile area, Prof. Dr.-Ing Stefan Kowalewski, is happy with this result: "I am especially happy about the fact that we received applications from seven different faculties and that most of the applications came from interdisciplinary research groups. Their research topics and strategies are highly innovative. This shows that the RWTH is well prepared to tackle these interdisciplinary research questions which will shape and manage the digital transformation."
The steering committee is now faced with the difficult task to select between 10 and 12 research proposals. Research funding will start in October 2016.
