Umbrella Symposium of the RWTH


Recently, the Umbrella Symposium took place after a two-year break. The annual symposium is an important part of the Umbrella Cooperation, a collaboration between RWTH Aachen University, Jülich Research Center and Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.


The aim of the symposium is to enhance cooperation and exchange in science and technology. The theme of this year's Umbrella Symposium was "Life Science and Engineering: Data Analytics, Neuroscience and Multiscale Biomedical Engineering." Among the highlights of the symposium was the presentation of the Umbrella Award. Three outstanding young researchers were honored with this award: Dr. David Mehler, Dr. Gabriela Figueroa Miranda and to Assistant Professor Assaf Zinger.
