Call for the Project House "ICT Foundations of a Digitized Industry, Economy, and Society"
The ICT Profile Area is in the process of establishing the "Center for Digital Transformation Research." The new center will include the Project House "ICT Foundations of a Digitized Industry, Economy, and Society."
The project house will provide a platform for interdisciplinary research on ICT technologies and methodologies which seeks to actively shape the ongoing digital transformation and master the resulting challenges for industry, the economy, and society. In the project house, researchers from all faculties will collaborate on externally funded interdisciplinary large-scale projects.
Starting October 1, 2016, the ICT Profile Area will provide start-up funding for the first projects conducted at the project house. On May 9, 2016, the spokersperson for the Profile Area, Professor Stefan Kowalewski, provided an overview of the objectives of the project house and outlined the requirements to receive start-up funding. The application period is open until June 15, 2016.
